Betterhumans (“forward thinkers discussing, celebrating and creating the future”) reports that another Texas researcher is a leader in biotech.

University of Texas’ nanotechnologist Ray Baughman has learned to spin a new yarn from carbon nanotubules. It appears that the yarn contracts when stimulated with electricity and is expected to be strong enough to serve as armor. he has a contract with the Pentagon to produce “exoskeletons” for soldiers.
